Windy, rainy, Saturday afternoon and absolutely packed to the brim...but no problem with speedy service...fish chip and peas and scampi chips and peas served hot and tasty...only downfall was they had run out of mushy peas (they must have been good)...Wetherspoons always a good affordable meal in great surroundings.
Staff attitude requires a considerable amount of improvement - seems the negative working culture had taken over - maybe time for a clear out at management level to ensure that the negativity is overhauled. Aside from that (one of the most important aspects of running a pub) the building is beautiful.
Big place and packed but not overpowering. Fast serving. Usual Weatherspoons GOOD.
No parking. Plenty of space inside. Good food. Lovely staff
Lovely place for a relaxed meal. Always quite busy, but are always able to get a table without booking. Food is great, however, often some unavailability on the menus.
