Excellent service from this local independent retailer. I contacted them on Tuesday to discuss the purchase of a new washing machine, it was delivered and installed the following day by 2 very courteous and knowledgeable members of the installation team, they took my old one away too. Super efficient and friendly service and the price was great too. Highly recommended.
Spoke to Jonathan about purchasing a new Ebac washer; he was very polite and knew about the money back offer for my old washer, said delivery to Darwen was no problem (no charge) and delivered at the time that was convenient to me. Delivered where I wanted it and instructions given and packing taken away by the affable delivery man. That's the kind of service that you used to get, but with the advent of the retail sheds, it's only at places like John Phillip that you get this service. I am a fellow retailer and appreciate that you gain repeat business by pleasant, efficient service!
Visited in store this afternoon 18/01/2017 wanting to purchase the new Loewe 40" TV after coming in store the previous Monday and having a pleasant sales experience with a man (bald head no offence intended I do apologise as I forgot his name) who introduced me to all the televisions brilliant facilities. Today I took the Loewe remote up to the desk only to be greeted by the rudest, most arrogant old man I've ever come across in customer services, I believe his name was Alistar. He indirectly accused me of stealing and was extremely sarcastic, I was made to feel like something he had stood in, brushing me off like a flea on a dog as he told me he was busy with another customer. That's fair enough Alistar but there was certainly no need for the disgusting way in which you treated me, it's safe to say I won't be spending my 1,600 at this store as I suppose gym attire is not suitable for purchasing items, be sure to suit and tie up if you ever wish to be taken seriously. Such a shame as the man I met Monday was very helpful and knows how not to look down on his customers. Alistar ought to take a leaf out of his book for sure.
We were having a problem with an old Humax connecting with our new Loewe TV that we bought from John Phillips. The maintenance guys who came out were great, knowledgeable & fast. Sorted the problem & a couple of others too! Top marks for service.
