Ruth sorted my back out in just three sessions with a combination of physio and acupuncture. I was made to feel at ease from the word go as she explained what she was doing and why. She also took time to show me some gentle exercises to carry out at home between appointments. Ruth is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly lady and I would not hesitate recommending her services to anyone needing a physiotherapist.
I have recently seen Ruth for a running related injury. Her approach was friendly and professional. She explained the technicalities of my injury in a clear and simple way and gave me realistic advice that was personalised to my situation.
I have had a knee problem for many years and have seen other physios who were able to give me exercises that helped a bit but did not make great improvements. Ruth took a thorough history and was able to tailor exercises specifically to my problem. The benefit I had after only one week was amazing. She did not just give me a universal standard printed sheet of exercises. As with all physio the patient has to do the exercises and I do, as I have always done so. The difference this time is that Ruth really listened to me and made a comprehensive physical assessment and was able to provide an individualised plan of exercises. I would like to add that I am an overweight middle-aged woman who is not athletic but is active. I feel she did not judge me but really worked with me ensure I got the maximum benefit. As a consequence I have lost 4 kilos as that was part of the plan to enable to do other exercise to help with weight loss.
I really recommend Ruth. An excellent physiotherapist. Ive had cause to visit many times over the years for various sporting injuries and shes always helped me back to fitness. Shes a genuine, warm and caring person who is always very professional and helpful.
