Absolutely fantastic building and in a beautiful location. Every member of staff we interacted with was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Well kept rooms, wonderful food it would be difficult to ask for much else. Very much looking forward to a return visit.
Very spontaneous last minute visit, from start to finish we where looked after so well, the staff, food, surroundings where all perfect! Would definitely like to visit again soon! Also our dogs where treated so well too. Highly recommend this Hotel
Very nice, if somewhat dated (in the cocktail bar). It was evident however that work was in progress with lots of wet paint signs everywhere. Hopefully this area will be updated with new carpets - current ones worn and shabby. Staff in the bar were VERY helpful and friendly. We normally just go in the Brasserie but were too early so just had a drink in the main hotel. (EXPENSIVE).
I really love this hotel. Beautiful location, food is wonderful. Staff are nice, we came for our baby moon and had such a lovely time staying in a four poster bed with a view across the gardens in the old house. Little touches like homemade shortbread and parkin cake in your room and little extras with the toiletries like lip balm as well as the usual bath stuff. Such a relaxed stay, would love to come again and do a helicopter tour of the area
Amazing tasting menu, lovely room. We stayed one night with our dog, leaving him upstairs whilst we ate. The 9 course tasting menu with wine flight was incredible. Room was good, could be improved only by not having two beds joined together and a different sink but would truly recommend. The staff were attentive and professional throughout.
