I've been driving VWs for about 8 years, and 3 years ago got a brilliant deal on a new Polo 1.2 TSI. My finance is about to come to an end, so i went back to look at trading it in. The new Polo has come out, even though it's a smaller engine due to the emissions scandal - i loved it! So went in to discuss pricing. I had been paying 140 a month for the past 3 years. But suddenly the new polo is 262... for the exact same car just with a slightly updated body but a smaller engine. Negotiating with the sales person felt like arguing with a brick wall. When we asked about what second hand cars they had "oh... they just aren't worth it". He wouldn't even give us numbers so i could look at what my optioned were. He just pretended to type on his computer and avoided questions.There just wasn't a deal to be had. I knew I wouldn't get the same price as i have for 3 years... but I wasn't about to pay more than 200 a month.. for less car! We said we'd look around and have a think and was told "you won't get a better deal than this". I felt very pressured and like i had no optionsSo, I went to Skoda Bradford, and got a higher spec car, with all the same features and more for 160 a month. They even offered me 500 more for my Polo than VW, and threw in a service plan at no extra cost. The sales person here listened to my needs and actually seemed interested.I'm very sad that i had this experience, as I said before I have always driven VWs and had such a great experience 3 years ago.... but this has left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't think i'll return to VW.

Just taken delivery of my beautiful Up. Lovely little car for me tootling around the shops and the likes. I had a wonderful experience start to finish I first entered VW with my son as its always been a daunting task they can be scary shark like places. However..... walking into here I knew straight away this wouldn't be the same. I bumped into a chap called Nick who escorted me & my son inside to a sales person.What a delight! Superb dealership, great customer service, always made to feel welcome when attending, lovely coffee and biscuits and a nice seating area. The service department are courteous, kind and attentive and I cannot speak highly enough of them, you can tell that customer satisfaction is a priority for them.
