Small country farm with a range of animals and a good cafe with room for around 50-60 people. Why for the Christmas Santa workshop and your which was just the right length and was entertaining for kids from 2-5 in our group (although 3-6 would be the right age group in my opinion). Got to meet Santa!!!
I've been to a lot of farms as me and my partner love seeing animals and feeding them. It also brings out the inner child in me. Unfortunately I was not that impressed with this place. The farm itself is well kept, the staff are extremely friendly and for a child, I can understand there could be plenty to do however for those like myself and my partner, there is simply not enough to see. In comparison to the sheer amount of others farms I've been to, this one lacks in the variety of animals. I understand that It may have been down to it being a weekday and not peak season however I personally think that this should be acknowledged by the owners by reducing their prices. I had to pay approximately 14.00 (two adults and two bags of animal feed). I went in with high expectation however left no later than an hour later (and that was after two laps of the whole farm). There were many animals that we did not see due to them not being available and in addition to this, the fields surrounding the farm, (where I was expecting to find ponies, sheep and rare breeds) I only saw chickens... Like I said, this place may be extremely fun for children as there are Santa workshops, slides, go karts and various activities however for an adult who loves animals, there is simply not enough to do in comparison with the charge of an adult admission. I really hope they lower the prices during off peak times.
Had a fantastic weekend, the kids had so much fun, feeding animals, egg collecting, pony rides, go carts, quad bikes, swinging on rope swings and much more. Food in the cafe was really good and they have gluten free options. Staff were fantastic very polite and accommodating. Highly recommended for families.
This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly aswell. I took my girls and all three loved in even with there being an 8 year age gap. The animals are friendly and there is loads to see. The park safari is well worth the extra money and can recommend enough. Brilliant day out. My girls got to feed the baby lambs and brush the ponys. There is also an area to eat and an indoor part for the kids to play. Very clean and very good value.
We went on quad trek. The instructor, Joe, was immense. He had the patience of a saint with my little eight year old wildfire, and with his guidance every one of the family thoroughly enjoyed the trek!! Course was good, If anything could be improved, let people have a couple turns round the track. Amazing instructor, ace countryside and good service. Thank you!!
