Superlative experience! Loved every minute a spent in the campsite and Bolten Abbey is a 10 minute walk and lovely.I would definitely go again and take my child with me next time!
Great location and views, an easy stroll into Bolton Abbey. Firepits 20 with wood and kindling helped with a cold first night. Campsite had a bustling festival feel, very limited space due to peak season and good weather.
Never again, facilities are great but the rules aren't very well policed. Had to pitch on a slope too. Meant to be quiet after 10:30pm but site was very noisy until the early hours. We left a day early and wasn't offered a refund of the 28 per night we paid after complaining to staff. Wouldn't recommend.
Brilliant campsite right next to Bolton Abbey and 17mins in the car to Skipton. The family that runs the campsite are very friendly and accommodating, the staff are chatty. There's a little shop at reception with loads of stuff stocked, you can have camp fires off the ground. No cars are kept on the campsite (there's a separate car park) which makes it better for the children. We've been twice and will be going again.
Facilities are excellent, organisation of the site was poor. Pitch a tent where you like, on a slope. Not the best site in terms of management. Beautiful surroundings and rich in history. Clean and tidy too, great bathrooms and showers though
