Good, but pricey. In my experience around the country, the "going rate" for bike hire is around 15 per day. Dave charges 25-30. Perhaps is it very "high end" rather than pricey - the bikes did have disk brakes, but then, there is not much competition in Skipton!
I have never met such a rude man with bad customer service I took 2 bikes in to b mended my daughters broke within a week of picking it up so I took it back and explained the problem and asked if it could be looked at again ! To a very rude reply of well I fixed it before she must of been too rough Ive done my job ? After a bit of coaxing he agreed to have a look again but so rude and banging around the shop as though I had done something wrong . When I picked it up he said Oh yes your the one who complained about my work ? Which I explained I hadnt complained Id brought the bike back and asked if it could be looked at he went through all he had done as though he had done a milatry operation not fixed a 7 year olds bike bein very nasty and angry the whole time . There is a young lad who works in there who is so nice and friendly and has got the meaning of customer service he apologised for the OWNER who had just talked to him like a piece of dirt as well as me ! I will not be goin back to this bike shop and I dont suggest anyone else does either very poor. 15 /8/2018
Very knowledgeable, good selection of bikes, accessories and parts.
Fantastic service from an experienced knowledgable mechanic, who sorted our wheel hub there and then.
We rented road bikes here and it was great! Bikes were in great condition, service was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.
