Superb, friendly place to stay near the centre of town. Kay and Mark are the perfect hosts for this gem of a B&B. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and we felt really at home. Highly recommended. Mark showed us around the shepherds hut which is beautiful. We will go again.
Shepherd's hut is perfect for one night or short get away in Market town of Skipton, with great personal touches and a quiet corner of the garden to have your coffee and thoughts. Recommend.
The Bailey has a sweet tranquil feel and a fabulous bathroom! The delightful garden and swift access to local, country walks is quite a surprise, considering it's just as quick to get into the town itself on foot. The owners are a super couple too, so it makes for an excellent holiday experience.
The Bailey provides the perfect experience for someone who wants a break from being in the city. Sitting just outside the Skipton castle walls, it is run by the most fabulous hosts, Mark and Kay, who welcomed me and my friends with the warmest hospitality. It is easy to pop to the markets 2 mins away on the main high street and go for a stroll in the canals. If you go slightly further out, you can go for a hike along the hills, which I highly recommend. The Bailey encapsulates the essence of Yorkshire country; of its freshness, comfort and warm people. I would always stay here again when I visit Skipton.
We stayed at this amazing venue for the night and had a wonderful experience! Fantastic hosts, perfect location (right next to a castle) and the hut was amazing! We enjoyed staying somewhere abit different but the hut still had everything you need and more, a great shower, lots of cooking supplies and was very tidy! Comfy bed and lovely decorations. The garden and land surrounding the hut was also lovely and we woke up to great views! Would definitely visit again, very happy with our experience
