A very nice hotel, the rooms are exultant and spacious. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A very pleasant short break. I found the corridors, bar and restaurant over hot, my room by day great, though after 22:00 room heating was switched off, it didn't come back on until around 7am again. The only heat was the bathroom floor or the corridors. Trip to toilet can leave you cold,. The quilt however soon rewarmed us. I would stay here again, with a fan heater on low for toilets trips.
Lovely hotel. Great breakfast in the conservatory with view of the canal with narrow boats passing by. Excellent evening meal.
Place is looking a little dated. Rooms were OK. But could do with a spot check cobwebs and a touch up would make them nice. The wedding venue was nice and well staffed. Staff were helpful. I was facing the road and even I could hear a lot of road noise. Nice situation backing onto the canal. Car parks are small and tight.
Lovely place, nice helpful staff. Manager and waitress went above and beyond. 5* customer service and stay. Would return again! We stayed in the room called 'best room in the house'.
Well proportioned rooms with the usual facilities. Good breakfast with tasty ingredients in a self services arrangements. Nice main meal served by friendly staff. Good dancing facilities.
